Scientific relations between Russia and Turkey, despite the turbulence in the world of politics and complication of bilateral relations continue to develop rapidly. The bright evidence of this is the traditionalization of meeting point for Russian and Turkish intellectuals. Three years in a row, they were held in Antalya.
26-29 March, 2016 Russian International Affairs Council, the Institute of Oriental Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences, the International Institute for the development of scientific cooperation and Institute of World Economics and Politics under the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation held the IV International Meeting of Intellectuals in Almaty – recognized scientific and cultural center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is an important integrating area in today's troubled world. Participation of Kazakhstan researchers in the dialogue of Russian and Turkish intellectuals allowed a fresh look at many issues of global agenda, and above all one of the most acute - international terrorism. During the meeting there were discussions about the present and the future of the integration processes in Eurasia, on the role of research in bringing together countries and peoples.
